Steven Wayne Avergonzado, 53, of Pearl City, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2016 at his home, with loving family by his side.
Services honoring Mr. Avergonzado will be held at Kihei Baptist Church on Friday, October 7, 2016. A public viewing will begin at 5:00pm, and services will begin at 6:00pm. A scattering ceremony will take place on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Launiupoko Beach, starting at 5:30pm.

Steven was born on April 13, 1963 to Evaristo Avergonzado & Violet Gonzado, in Santa Ana, CA. Steven was an Executive Sous Chef, sports enthusiast, loved surfing, snowboarding, big trucks, making people smile, but most importantly, spending time with his family.
Mr. Steven Avergonzado leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 10 years, Gladys Avergonzado; daughter, Sheana Avergonzado; son, Reef Avergonzado; brothers, Ernest Avergonzado, Carl Avergonzado, Andrew Avergonzado, Gavin Gonzado, Greg Gonzado, and Gilbert Gonzado; and sister, Gina Gonzado.
